Hi there, I'm Nicole!

I provide individual therapy with adults experiencing depression and anxiety stemming from trauma, systemic oppression, ancestral wounds, racial injustices, domestic violence, sex trafficking, grief and loss, and other life stressors. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly.

My focus

I work with women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ individuals, survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking, first and second-generation immigrants, and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, Acute Stress, and PTSD.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, based on you as an individual. I believe multiple modalities may support your healing journey, while understanding that some approaches may not be appropriate for BIPOC communities.

My communication style

My communication style is calm, empathic, and easygoing to allow ease in sharing your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It is important to create a safe and comfortable space for anything that may arise in our sessions.

My journey to mental healthcare

I always knew I wanted to help others. While in graduate school, I began to notice that systemic oppression may be a cause of mental health symptoms, and therapeutic theories often did not account for this, specifically with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. This furthered my eagerness to provide therapy and create a safe space for these communities.
