Hi there, I'm Nia!

I grew up in a community where mental health resources were limited for black youth. That experience inspired me to become a therapist who creates spaces where Black youth and young adults feel seen, understood, and supported. I work with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.

My focus

My ideal client is ready to do the work, open to change, and willing to be honest about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Therapy is a partnership—I provide guidance, support, and tools, but lasting growth happens when clients are committed to applying what they learn.

My approach

I offer a safe and supportive space for those struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma. My approach is not only evidence-based but also rooted in empathy, creating a safe and affirming space for adolescents and adults to explore their emotions and experiences. With a focus on cultural sensitivity, I strive to honor everyone's background.
