My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to this work by a commitment to reducing suffering and addressing the mental health effects of inequity. Seeing the transformative power of affirming, structured therapy—especially for LGBTQIA+ clients—continues to inspire and guide my practice.

In our first session, I conduct a structured assessment to understand your history, concerns, strengths, and priorities. Together, we begin building a treatment plan and clarify expectations. You’ll leave with a sense of direction and how we will work collaboratively toward your goals.

We break challenges into manageable steps, and clients are expected to actively engage in practicing skills between sessions. We revisit goals regularly to track progress and adjust our work as needed.
