Hi there, I'm Estela!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the San Fernando Valley. I work with clients statewide via Telehealth. My approach balances cognitive restructuring with behavioral change while being attuned to the client’s social and environmental background, ensuring a holistic, person-in-environment perspective.

My focus

Throughout my professional experience, I have worked with different groups of people. I provided services and worked closely with seniors, families, veterans, individuals with physical disabilities, co-occurring substance use disorders, and health conditions. I also have experience working with teens and adolescents.

My approach

My approach varies; I like to keep in mind the broader social context affecting the client’s mental health. This could mean working on interpersonal relationships, advocating for social services, and addressing the client’s environment and social systems that may be impacting their well-being.
