I offer a safe space to explore the human experience together. Let's invite healthy ways of coping and introduce a new way of operating in this world so that our lives and the lives of those around us can prosper. It has been my experience that while not every life has been touched by abuse or addiction, every life has experienced loss.

My focus

I tend to work with adults and couples, especially with grief and loss. Solution-focused feels appropriate for a change of life, stress, anxiety, and some family/relationship issues.

My approach

I tend to work with a Narrative approach, especially with grief and loss. Solution-focused feels appropriate for change of life, stress, anxiety, and some family/relationship issues. I will go into an analytical approach with couples, as I feel it is necessary for each partner to fully understand why the other operates the way they do.

My communication style

I'm considerate and provide a safe place for all feelings and insecurities, but I can also be direct and to the point. Our purpose is to break old habits that keep you feeling stuck and no longer serve your health and healing.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have learned a great deal of lessons the hard way. I enjoy sharing my experiences, knowledge, and wisdom with anyone who is willing to receive it. I have come to find a few truths: that life is completely and utterly unfair and yet beautiful and worth every step; as well as the knowledge that hardship and adversity build a better version of us.

My goals for you

Goals can vary and shift within therapy. What starts as an initial goal may be sidelined by a new problem. We'll work together to prioritize goals and celebrate accomplishments and successes along the way.

Our first session

Initial sessions include legalities, goal setting, and rapport building. This is a great time to see if we're a good fit. I tell clients to trust your gut. Sometimes we connect wonderfully, and sometimes we don't, and that's okay. I'm never offended and only want the best for you.
