My communication style

I know that beginning therapy or returning to therapy can be uncomfortable and difficult, but I know that each client has growth potential, has worth, and wants to achieve their goals. My goal is to build a safe space that allows for growth and empowerment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I believe in continuing to grow through hardships and struggles. My social work degree has given me opportunities to work alongside people who want to grow despite their situations. Being allowed into the lives of others is a privilege that drives me to continue as a therapist.

Let's work together to explore what your goals are, and then we will work on mapping out how to achieve them. As we explore goals, we can prioritize how to identify any obstacles and create a plan on how to overcome them by taking action. I will support and encourage you along the way and monitor your progress along with you.

Our first session

I know that there may be anxiety coming to the first therapy session, but I will greet you and begin to build rapport so that you feel welcome and at ease. I hope to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you feel heard and seen.
