I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Los Angeles, California, and am originally from Scotland. I work with children and families, adolescents, and adults, and specialize in the treatment of family and relationship issues, stress management, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorder.

I have worked with a highly varied and diverse client base, from justice-involved youth and their families to people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. My style is calm and comforting, and is a good fit for teens, families, and young adults who may be dealing with life challenges, developmental transitions, and societal pressures.
My approach
My approach is client-centered and varies based on your needs. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy as a baseline and combine these with elements of motivational interviewing, a strength-based approach, and solution-focused interventions.
