I create a safe and supportive environment where patients of all ages can reach their therapeutic goals. My practice focuses on helping you navigate life's challenges with compassion and expertise.

My focus

I specialize in supporting those struggling with medical and mental health concerns. My expertise includes HIV/AIDS, pediatric oncology, adolescent struggles, gender identity, sexual orientation, eating disorders, postpartum depression and anxiety, and infertility.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is narrative-based and utilizes solution-focused and cognitive behavioral methods. You are the expert in your life experience, and my role is to guide and support you. We may examine your past to identify patterns influencing your current concerns, helping you develop healthy coping skills.

My communication style

I am an excellent communicator and engage in conversation during our sessions. I can be direct when needed for the clinical work to progress, while offering space for you to share as you feel comfortable.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been the person everyone came to when they needed to share their deepest thoughts and feelings. I went into clinical practice because I felt a calling to help those in need of support and guidance. I still love what I do and feel grateful to the people who have allowed me into their lives.

I value your direction in setting goals and providing feedback if we need to pivot. You come to our sessions with a sense of what you want to achieve, and I support you in reaching those goals.

During our first session, we will work on establishing rapport and getting to know each other. I want to make sure you feel comfortable with me and can see yourself continuing our journey. We will discuss what brought you into therapy and what you hope to achieve from working together.
