I believe that through collaborative work together, there is hope for understanding and changing behaviors, beliefs, and conflicts that are impeding you from having the quality of life you desire. I strive to provide an environment that is nurturing, open, and safe for you to process and grow, improving your life and level of functioning.

My focus

I work with children, teens, and adults to explore, understand, and improve the various challenges they are experiencing such as anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, trauma, marital/relational issues, life transitions, crisis intervention, grief and loss, blended families, adoption and foster care, and parenting difficulties.

My approach

I am skilled in using a wide range of interventions including play, sandtray, & art therapy, CBT, family systems, parenting, trauma treatment, as well as multiple other interventions. I collaborate with you to discover what works best to support your work towards greater understanding and effective management of issues and concerns.

My communication style

I value clear and honest communication that is also supportive, warm, empathetic, and free of judgement. I want you to feel heard, with the time and space to reflect, learn, and grow. I am open to and welcome feedback and strive to be a safe space for the work we are doing together.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always had a desire to help and support people as they strive to work through and gain a better understanding of their lives and how they experience and respond to people and situations around them.

My goals for you

I believe the best work happens in a therapeutic relationship where you feel connected, seen, and heard. We work together to build a relationship that allows you to be safe while feeling vulnerable and working through the struggles you are experiencing towards growth and greater navigation of feelings, responses, and coping skills.

Our first session is a chance to explore what brings you to therapy and to answer any questions you may have. There is no one size fits all therapeutic process, and I hope to give you the space and time to feel comfortable and progress as we move at your pace towards greater peace and understanding of your life and anything you wish to work on.
