I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have experience working with most age groups from children to adults. My specialty areas include depression, mood disorders, anxiety, coping skills, grief & loss, relationship issues, and crisis intervention.

I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and relational issues. I appreciate working with all people and tailor my approach to meet you where you are.

My approach

My approach is eclectic, using different perspectives depending on what works best for you. I draw from Psychodynamic, Narrative, CBT, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, and Client-Centered approaches to support your unique needs.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can comfortably discuss and explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My communication style is empathetic and transparent.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always wanted to become a Licensed Therapist. I took a detour and first worked as a case manager with homeless families that were establishing stability, then with families that were raising child(ren) that had a developmental disability, then with women who were dually diagnosed with a drug addiction and a Mental Health diagnosis.

My goals for you

Therapy is about you learning to work through difficult situations to improve your life. We'll set goals collaboratively, with you defining and establishing what you'd like to accomplish.

Our first session

The first session is a time to get to know one another, connect, build trust, and help you feel safe. Therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest. I look forward to understanding your challenges.
