I work well with individuals who are ready for change and looking for support to get them there. These individuals come wanting support around anxiety, depression, trauma, and many more.

My approach

I prefer to use a client-centered and strength-based approach to focus on what you need and want.

My communication style

I create a safe space to be able to discuss anything that might be needed by utilizing a mindfulness approach to create calmness. I also attempt to model a secure communication style and collaborate with you, the client, on our focus.

My journey to mental healthcare

The true reason for my therapy journey has been growing up seeing how mental health and substance abuse impacted my friends and family. I then decided that I wanted to be part of the change and wanted to learn how I could be of more support to not just my friends and family, but to others.

My goals for you

I work collaboratively with you, the client, in deciding the goals and preferred outcomes. I also revisit the goals and preferred outcomes with you on an ongoing basis to ensure that we stay focused on what you want.

Our first session together will entail introductions, reviewing policies, going over your goals and preferred outcomes, and getting insight into background information.
