My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up in a dysfunctional, alcoholic family, I wanted to understand how people think and solve problems. My own deep healing work showed me that therapists can only guide clients as far as they've traveled themselves. I use that journey to help others heal.

Goal-setting is client-driven. I follow your pace as a way to empower you and honor where you are in your process.

Our first session

We'll explore what brings you to therapy and discuss your expectations and goals. I'll ask about previous therapy experiences and what has or hasn't worked. I'll look for clues about how you heal best while building our therapeutic relationship from the start. Before we end, I'll check in about your experience and comfort level continuing together.
