I believe therapy is creative conversations that are purposeful, without judgment, and a safe place to express conflictual feelings and emotions. My job is to guide healthy conversations as I believe you know deep down inside what you need. I am not the expert of your life.
My focus
I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing emotional distress due to anxiety, depression, PTSD, racial and religious traumas, social justice issues, and chronic pain. Sessions often focus on past trauma, emotional triggers, attachment issues, relationship issues, effects of transracial adoptions, addictions, and substance abuse.
My approach
I work with people from all walks of life, building empathetic, genuine relationships to create a safe space for healing and change. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Brainspotting, Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy to help you process experiences and move forward.
