Hi there, I'm Amanda!

I'm glad you are here and open to getting help. My goal is to help you find the strengths that are already inside you, to live the most fulfilling life you can. My passion for social justice, intersectionality, and trauma-informed care heavily guide how I show up as a therapist.

My focus

I work with individuals aged 14+ on depression, anxiety, identity, and trauma. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ communities, and I also have experience treating eating disorders.

My approach

Therapy with me is relational, interpersonal, and attachment-based (meaning it is in-the-moment). My work is anti-diet, anti-racist, culturally humble, and intersectional. I also pull from Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. These frameworks are used, but individualized to your needs.
