My journey to mental healthcare

I believe that caretaking for my grandmother with Alzheimer's Disease and seeing that process through till after hospice and beyond, as a teenager, really set the stage for my healthcare career. I have worked in many areas in the mental health field and ER settings; these experiences have all come together.

My goals for you

This includes having a therapeutic discussion focusing on the current stressors, concerns, and responsibilities. And, working toward clarifying and defining needed goals in these areas, and then, fostering the motivation towards entering into a plan to achieve those goals.

Our first session

A guided, thorough assessment of the history of the immediate concerns, past concerns, and patterns, and getting a holistic view of the person coming to care. There would be a lot of questions in the assessment as well.
