My journey to mental healthcare

I earned my mental health degree more than 26 years ago and have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including psychiatric hospitals, schools, universities, women's treatment facilities, rehabilitation programs, and private practice. These diverse experiences have allowed me to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.

My goals for you

I help clients reach their goals by creating a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where they feel heard and understood. Together, we identify strengths, clarify goals, and develop practical strategies to address challenges. Using evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual's needs, I help my clients.

Our first session

The first session is an intake appointment focused on gathering information and getting to know you. We will discuss your concerns, personal history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. This session also gives you the opportunity to ask questions, learn about my therapeutic approach, and determine whether we are a good fit to work together.
