My journey to mental healthcare

With over 14 years of clinical experience, I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner because I believe compassionate mental health care changes lives. My experience in inpatient, PHP, IOP, and outpatient settings, combined with teaching graduate PMHNP students, keeps my care current and evidence-based.

Through evidence-based medication management, education, symptom monitoring, and collaborative decision-making, I'll help you build lasting coping skills, reduce symptoms, improve daily functioning, and achieve meaningful, long-term mental wellness.

Our first session

Before your appointment, complete the pre-screening questionnaire sent by text, submit your new patient intake forms, and wait for confirmation from my office, as Rula appointments are not finalized until confirmed. During your first visit, we'll review your history, symptoms, goals, and create a personalized treatment plan together.
