I offer mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, and am Colorado's leading specialist in the area of mental health and working. Simple career counseling isn't enough to address the variety of complex and mortally serious issues that stem from the working relationship. I focus on workers, and on rare occasions work with employers.
My focus
I have training and specialization working with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds and working with LGBTQ+ clients. I work well with students and younger clients. Clients with degrees and work histories often have greater untapped resources we explore. I have the rare specialty of working with directors, executives, and business owners.
My approach
My general approach includes relationship building, treatment planning, using the most effective method, and tracking client progress towards goals over time. When related to work, my method is helping the client-worker identify their unmet work needs leading to suffering, identifying their literal value, and taking action to get these needs met.
