My communication style

I believe in strength-based collaborative communication. What that means is we will spend time identifying your strengths and then applying them towards your situation in a manner that is hopefully empowering.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began school on the engineering path, after struggling in advanced math and excelling in studies for psychology, I found my passion. As I continued studying, I found joy in learning how to apply psychological models and empirical studies to better understand each person's worldview.

My goals for you

I can help clients achieve their goals by simply setting treatment plan goals designed to alleviate reported distress at the onset of treatment. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is wonderful at developing treatment plan goals that align with self-monitoring in between sessions, so that we can review and adjust from session to session.

Our first session

First sessions are often referred to as an intake session. During this time, I will ask you many straightforward questions so that I can get the best possible understanding of who you are today, what led you to be where you are at today, and why you are seeking treatment.
