My communication style

My communication style is direct, honest, and supportive. I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable being real about what they’re going through, without fear of judgment. I believe in being straightforward while also respectful. I will listen and validate your experience, but I will also challenge unhelpful patterns when needed.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a provider was shaped by both my professional training and my personal experiences with mental health challenges. Through my own experiences, I gained insight into how difficult it can be to navigate overwhelming thoughts, emotions, and life patterns—and how important it is to have support that is both real and effective.

My goals for you

I help clients reach their goals by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps and creating a structured plan for change. We start by identifying what’s not working and what you want to be different. From there, we look at the patterns—thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—that may be getting in the way. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT.

Our first session

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’d like to change, and any patterns or challenges you’ve been dealing with. I’ll ask questions to get a clear picture of your history, current situation, and goals, but you don’t have to share everything.
