Hi there, I'm Jordyn!

I'm a LPC, a married woman who is child-free by choice. My background includes work with adult individuals, couples, parents, and children of all ages, which shapes how I support people through big life transitions: new jobs, moves, new relationships, careers, becoming a parent, or choosing not to.

I work with individuals, couples, families, and teenagers. My focus is life transitions: new jobs, relocations, new relationships, becoming a parent, or choosing to live child-free. As a child-free woman myself, I bring real insight to clients navigating that decision.

My approach

My approach blends Solution-Focused and Emotionally Focused therapy (EFT) with a style that's direct yet kind. I hold space, validate what you're feeling, and won't let you face things alone. I bring my honest perspective and will hold you accountable, not just listen.

My communication style

My space is casual and honest, the kind of session where you can really let loose and say what's actually going on. I show up unapologetically as myself, and I hope that gives you permission to do the same.

My journey to mental healthcare

Life has handed me plenty of curveballs and hard seasons, and along the way I learned how to hold joy and love even in the mess. I'm not all sunshine and will not expect you to be. Becoming a therapist showed me people don't need fixing, they need someone to make them feel less crazy and to hold their hand, or push them, through life.

My goals for you

I lean into themes over rigid goals. Goals can feel like pass/fail — set out to read 100 books, read 87, and it can feel like failure, even though 87 books is incredible. I'd rather frame it as "a year of reading," so every book you finish counts as a win.

I'm all ears. If you know where you want to start, great — if you need me to ask questions until we land somewhere, that's cool too. I'll meet you however you need in our first session, and I'll share a bit about myself too, so it doesn't feel one-sided.
