The greatest success in my helping career is meeting people where they are at and helping them find the growth and peace they are looking for. I do therapy because I choose to continue to use my hard earned skill set through years of working with people in the hardest parts of their lives.

My focus

The best clients for me are ones that are open in the therapeutic environment. Sessions are secure and confidential so it is a safe place to do so.

My approach

I am easily approachable and genuinely interested in who you are, your experiences, and listening to what you want to work on. I find that I can quickly discern concerns and direction for sessions so that we make the most of the time.

Midwest friendly and warm. I like to hear your story and and like to engage with compassion and humor.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been in a helping field as I feel that serving others is my calling. I have been a child protection worker, a palliative medicine social worker, emergency room behavioral health worker, para with children with developmental concerns. Over the years it has been people in the hardest parts of their lives with positive outcomes.

My goals for you

I am fully committed to be efficient with sessions. We set goals in the first session and complete those goals in a timely fashion.

Our first session

The first session is understanding who you are and what concerns you have, and setting a path forward. This is an opportunity for me to listen and ask clarifying questions to know what is most important for you.
