My communication style

I am who I am! Why should I be anyone else? I am understanding and validating, however I will challenge ways of thinking, behaviors, and communication. Also, humor! Give me the memes, gifs, and quotes from movies & TV. "I'm tired of this grandpa..."

My journey to mental healthcare

I went through some stuff in my life, I was forced into therapy by my Mom (thanks Mom!) and that therapist showed me different ways of healing, the way she made me reflect, change, and grow. By the end of the summer that I worked with her, I asked how I can do what she does so that I can help others the way she helped me.

My goals for you

By understanding that while goals are important and they should be worked on, life happens. Sometimes you have to pivot (In Ross's voice from Friends). We can always re-focus on those goals when life calms down. Its not the destination, its the ride there that counts, you never know what you may learn on the way.

Our first session

Our first session(s) will be us getting to know each other, figure out goals and if we vibe well. I always tell my new people, you don't know me from a can of paint, don't tell me your biggest struggles until you and your body feel comfortable to tell me. I will also assist in completing any screeners that you struggle with.
