I am person-centered, helping clients identify thoughts and emotions that drive their behaviors, helping them to gain insights into where their beliefs come from, and challenging when necessary to help them transform into the best versions of themselves.

I am professional, yet friendly, incorporating humor into my approach when appropriate. I don't take myself too seriously, but I do take our work together seriously.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started out in law school. I soon discovered that I am a healer, not a fighter. I always wanted to make the world a better place, but wasn't always sure what path to take to accomplish this. Eventually, through my own counseling, I found my way to my true calling.

My goals for you

I help clients to explore the broad reasons for bringing them into therapy, after which we will identify concrete steps to achieve these bigger goals.

Our first session

Our first session is about getting to know each other. I try to keep it relaxed and organic. The therapeutic relationship, though clinical, is still a relationship. We can make the most out of our time together if we mutually feel trust, respect, and commitment in the room.
