Hi there, I'm Wendy!

I offer culturally responsive counseling to support you as you decide what's impacting you and what can be done to change it. I've worked with every client population imaginable and can listen and guide as you explore your desires and roads to fulfillment.

My focus

I work with men, women, and teens navigating life adjustments. Addictions, depression, anxiety, and relationship problems are tough; you don't have to think alone. I'm also a resource finder—support is out there even when a counselor isn't. We can work it together.

My approach

I help clients understand how their thoughts affect their behaviors and vice versa. Together, we build plans for increasing resiliency so you can live your best life.

My communication style

I'm open, honest, and blunt. I ask questions and dig deeper. I can't read minds and try not to make assumptions. You'll be responsible for your journey, and I'll be here to support you every step of the way.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to family and friends facing challenges as a teen and started studying psychology. I've worked in group homes, crisis units, treatment centers, and private practice. The most important tool I've used is counseling for myself.

My goals for you

Treatment goals will be developed together. If you don't want something, it won't happen. I'll help you obtain what you need to reach your goals or make adjustments that will make life more bearable.
