The majority of my work has been in the area of trauma, mood disorders, family therapy, and working with adolescents.

My focus

I have worked with various clients from geriatrics to children, and across many different settings. I've worked in an inpatient unit and community mental health centers. I excel in working with clients facing mood disorders, grief, or trauma.

My journey to mental healthcare

I like to say that I stumbled into the field of psychology by accident. I was a nursing major, and my roommate in college invited me to her Psychology 101 class. I quickly fell in love with the concepts, and how fascinating the mind is, and the rest was history.

During the first session, I like to have an idea of the client's goals for therapy. Then, together, we create short and long-term goals for a successful therapy journey.
