Hi there, I'm Charisse!
I work with adults and older adults facing behavioral health and physical health challenges. With a small caseload, I provide comprehensive care to clients whose lives are impacted by depression, anxiety, grief, chronic illness, and life transitions. I'm keenly aware of how unmet psychosocial needs affect overall well-being and quality of life.
My focus
I support individuals, family members, and caregivers experiencing anxiety and depression related to chronic, acute, or terminal illness. I also work with survivors of abuse or trauma and those navigating unresolved grief from the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or other life-altering circumstances.
My approach
I use Insight-Oriented, Person-Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral approaches along with grief counseling and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to address depression, anxiety, and loss. I remain flexible and open to other modalities based on your unique needs and will offer referrals when appropriate.
