My focus

I typically work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma-related challenges. I’m especially comfortable supporting individuals struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression, helping them build healthier coping skills and develop a stronger sense of self-worth.

My approach

I believe that healing happens in a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients develop practical coping skills, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and build emotional resilience.

I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to open up and be themselves. In sessions, I focus on building trust and genuine connection, using compassion, humor, and honesty to help clients feel both understood and empowered.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to a career as a therapist because of my own experiences growing up in a single-parent household with a parent who struggled with mental health challenges that were often brushed off due to cultural stigma. Witnessing the impact of untreated mental health issues inspired me to break that cycle.

I approach goal setting collaboratively, working with clients to identify meaningful, realistic goals that align with their values and strengths. Together, we create a plan that feels achievable and flexible, adjusting as needed to support progress and personal growth.
