Hi there, I'm Randie!

My goal is to provide a safe and supportive counseling environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight into your behaviors, and improve skills to overcome your challenges. One of the strongest predictors of success in therapy is the connection you have with your therapist.

My focus

I work predominantly with adults. I have worked extensively and successfully with issues involving life transitions, relationships, divorce, grief, loss, as well as BiPolar and Mood disorders.

My approach

My practice approach is eclectic. I prefer a client-focused and solution-based approach, specific to both you and the issues you present. My personal life experiences, intuitive understanding, and compassion for others have helped many clients attain increased joy, greater insight, calm, and emotional flexibility to cope with life's stressors.

My communication style

My communication style is straightforward and clear. I always try to provide a safe and comfortable space for honesty and authenticity as we work together towards our mutual goal of improved mental health.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to the study of psychology in an effort to learn more about my own personal challenges and life experiences. A lifelong pursuit of improving my personal mental and physical health has allowed me to become emotionally and spiritually better-suited to handle life's uncertainties as well as assist others in their times of need.

My goals for you

I primarily rely on talk therapy to achieve therapeutic results. I believe strongly in the mind/body connection and stress reduction through healthy eating, exercise, and adequate sleep hygiene. I encourage self-care, healthy boundaries, and consistency in therapy.

An initial session is for information gathering, creating a comfortable environment, and determining whether we are a good fit for one another.
