Hi there, I'm Cheryl!

I am a Clinical Licensed Social Worker in Florida and a Certified Life Coach. I work with individuals diagnosed with ADHD of all ages and their parents. I also work with clients who are experiencing stress and self-esteem issues.

My focus

During our first session, we will discuss what you would like to accomplish during our sessions. We will then work together to identify several areas of your life that you would like to work on. I will also ask you to complete a strengths assessment.

My approach

Throughout my career, I have had the ability to not only empathize with my clients but to help empower them to realize that they are enough, they are resourceful and whole, and capable of achieving their goals. I want to help you realize that you have the power to take control of your thoughts, actions, and your life.

I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their concerns and goals while developing practical strategies for change.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist has been both meaningful and rewarding. I have always known that helping others was my calling. Along the way, I worked as a teacher, guidance counselor, and life coach before becoming a therapist. These experiences allow me to bring a well-rounded, compassionate perspective to my work with clients.

I approach goal setting by guiding clients through a self-awareness exercise and strengths assessment, which helps us identify patterns, clarify goals, and build practical strategies for change.

During our first session, we will discuss what you would like to accomplish during our sessions. We will discuss what brought you to therapy at this time. I will also ask you to complete a strengths assessment. We will work together to identify your goals and strategize how to accomplish these goals.
