Hi, I am so glad you have decided to take a step in healing from your past. I am a licensed mental health counselor in the State of Florida. I have a virtual practice and work with adult clients from all over the state. I specialize in working with people who grew up in families where there was some type of instability or turmoil.
My focus
Adult clients often come to me struggling with some form of addiction, self-sabotage, self-harm, shame/guilt, co-dependency, depression, anxiety, dissociative disorders, or emotional regulation problems as a result of instability during their childhood. In addition to working with those who have experienced childhood trauma.
My approach
I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as both modalities help us build a shared understanding of your reality and allow us to work together. I believe in the human potential to grow and change. We are amazing creatures and can overcome severe adversity.
