My communication style

My communication style is very open-minded, warm, and affirming. Counseling is like a journey that can help individuals embark on a mission of self-discovery. This can, in turn, unlock limitless possibilities of who and what they can be. What I enjoy most about providing therapy is when clients have that breakthrough moment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist after going through a difficult time and realizing that not everyone has supportive people to turn to. I wanted to be that person for others who feel alone in their struggles.

My goals for you

People usually seek therapy when they are at their lowest and don't know where else to turn. When people feel burdened, overwhelmed, and exhausted, this inner pain can get so severe that it drives them to consult a professional. My therapeutic orientation refers to helping clients change their thoughts in order to reduce mental health symptoms.

Our first session

The first session will be all about rapport building. I will get to know you, and this is the trust-building phase. You will not feel comfortable sharing your issues until you feel you can trust me. I can help you look at your issues in a new way. Sometimes it is easier to talk to an experienced professional instead of a friend or family member.
