Hi there, I'm Karlee!

Therapy is not easy, it takes work. It takes motivation. I work with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, with individuals who have experienced significant life changes, and with individuals who have experienced trauma and would like brief treatment to process it.

My focus

I focus primarily on helping individuals on the Autism Spectrum navigate social and emotional challenges. I also specialize in CBT for Chronic Pain and in Brief Prolonged Exposure to Trauma.

My approach

I primarily utilize CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapies. I am client-centered, but will also challenge you to set and meet goals that are relevant to you and your growth.

My communication style

I create a comfortable working environment, but will also be very honest with you. I expect you to put in work between sessions to practice the skills we have talked about. I want you to be empowered.

My journey to mental healthcare

I believe that a client needs a goal, so that they have something to work towards, and so that they can get the most benefit out of therapy. Goals should be the clients, and not mine. I also encourage clients to re-evaluate their goals if they need to.

We will talk about your reason for seeking therapy, and what you hope to accomplish. We will also talk about your mental health history. I will assess for safety and ask about your support system. I also allow space for you to ask me questions about myself and my professional experience.
