Hi there, I'm Sara!

I would love to work with you towards goal setting for therapy to identify an Evidence-Based Curriculum and approach we can work through together. Some curricula I am working out of and presenting issues include: Anger Management, Substance, Trauma, AFFIRM, Anxiety, Grief, Mindfulness, CBT, and Individual and Couples work.

My focus

I typically work with individuals with a trauma history, anxiety, anger, depression, life transitions including grief, discovering or being part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and those open to growth and goal setting.

My approach

I am an all-affirming therapist who utilizes motivational interviewing, strength-based, holistic, and person-centered approaches in the therapy setting.

My communication style

I work towards setting a tone in the therapy room that is open-minded and relaxed so that we can work toward co-regulation.

My journey to mental healthcare

While working as a yoga instructor and massage therapist, I discovered a need for more education to ethically serve clients having emotional responses. I believe every step of my education and experience has greatly influenced my practice currently.
