My communication style

I encourage open communication and provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active and empathic listening, which will give you opportunities to have epiphanies and self-actualize.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up in a very dysfunctional family, and from a very early age, different relatives would come to me for sympathy and advice. Also, in my 30s, during a very stressful time in my life, I entered therapy myself for an anxiety disorder, which resolved after a good deal of work, I'm happy to say!

My goals for you

I believe that therapy is a collaboration. Together, we’ll identify and set goals that matter to you, whether they focus on symptom relief, improving relationships, building self-esteem or another personal objective. We can adapt our plan at any time to ensure it’s always relevant, and I'll be with you in partnership.

Our first session

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll talk about your background and what brings you to therapy. I welcome all questions and honest feedback. It’s completely normal to feel nervous about your first appointment, so we'll take it one step at a time: I’m here to help make each step easier and rewarding.
