I come to Rula with close to experience in evidence-based therapy practices, and helping clients learn new ways to manage mild depression, anger, anxiety, stress, and other emotional challenges.
My focus
Be it grief loss, relationship and/or family issues, life coaching, recent significant life changes, or navigating sexuality and/or gender expression in your personal life and society, my goals are to help adults process these obstacles and increase their ability to move forward with a positive action plan through short-term therapy sessions.
My approach
I utilize CBT, cognitive reframing and processing, and mindfulness. I work heavily in the area of acceptance, while practicing empathy, healthy validation, and interventions for symptom improvement and resolve.
