My communication style

My communication style is calm, accommodating, personable, and positive. I like to use my extensive knowledge of different modalities of care to help patients, and I believe that building positive rapport with my patients is important for the patient to feel comfortable in sessions.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been drawn to helping people, over time I learned that people tend to find it easy to speak with me, and I have been told that I have a calming presence. I enjoy being a therapist and find joy in helping other people in their mental health journey.

My goals for you

I believe that while goals are important for us to move forward in life, goals in therapy are individualized based on what is currently causing disruption in your life, and we will work together to build a treatment plan that is effective for you.

Our first session

During our first session, the client should expect to use the majority of the session in building a rapport and connection. I like to assess where they are in their mental health journey and help to establish an understanding of what they expect to accomplish while in treatment.
