My focus

I provide counseling for adolescents, adults, individuals, and couples in an affirming space for the LGBTQ+ community. My focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and self-esteem. With 20 years of supporting veterans and families, I also offer relationship counseling for couples, partners, and families.

My counseling style is integrative, combining CBT, SFBT, and mindfulness with other techniques to fit each client’s journey. I recognize that well-being involves mind, body, and spirit, and I create a safe space where clients can build resilience, reduce anxiety, and grow with confidence

My journey to mental healthcare

My experience with counseling revealed the power of therapy to restore balance and inspire change. That insight led me to become a therapist dedicated to helping others navigate challenges, reduce suffering, and build resilience. Our first session

In the first telehealth session, clients begin building trust and comfort while exploring how we can work together. We’ll introduce ourselves, discuss reasons for seeking therapy, review confidentiality, and outline treatment methods. This session lays the foundation for feeling heard, understood, and supported.
