My communication style

I create a safe environment for clients by remaining nonjudgmental and meeting the clients where they are. I believe the essentials for the therapeutic relationship are empathy, mutual understanding of expectations, and respect.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was inspired to become a therapist after growing up in a family that experienced mental illness and trauma. I would like to help those in need thrive and become the best versions of themselves.

My goals for you

I tailor my approach by collaborating with clients about what they hope to achieve through therapy and the mechanisms by which they would like to do so.

Our first session

Clients should expect that I will spend most of the time learning about them, what they would like to improve, and their previous experience with therapy. I prefer to know as many details as possible to determine what is most helpful for the client.
