My communication style

That first session is the get to know you session. I like to dive right into the root of the problem and identify the barriers to our potential goals. Sometimes our goals for therapy can change so I will often check in to make sure we got to talk about everything that you wanted to talk about.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path to becoming an LCSW started when I was in high school. At the time, I thought I wanted to work with kids. I started off working in child welfare and realized quickly that I wanted to work more in the mental health field. I then began the steps toward getting my master's degree.

My goals for you

As a therapist, I help clients reach their goals by first helping them clarify what they truly want to change and what meaningful progress would look like, then supporting them in understanding the emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and relational patterns that may be keeping them stuck.
