I work with people experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, life and family transitions, grief and bereavement, relationship or marital challenges, and issues surrounding military families.

My approach draws on cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, humanistic, and solution-focused techniques. I believe trust, emotional safety, and compassion create a strong therapeutic bond that facilitates change. I use expressive techniques like drawing, painting, music, and poetry to help you understand your motivation and readiness for change.

My communication style is compassionate, empathic, reflective, and mindful. My goal is to establish an emotionally safe space to support you in creating change and embracing hope.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a social worker because I wanted to help people address challenging life events such as grief, loss, divorce, and familial discords. I have become eclectic in my approaches as I believe everyone is different and requires different support to reach their goals.
