My communication style

I am open to communication via phone or text, though most of our work happens in weekly or biweekly sessions. I encourage you to journal what occurs between sessions so we can discuss it next time. Don't be afraid to tell me what works and what doesn't.

My journey to mental healthcare

It all started when I got my first taste of mental health through family and friend interactions. I saw the reactions of those within my Caribbean background and made it a point to learn more. This started my career path, and I have not looked back since.

My goals for you

Our goals depend on where you are currently and where you would like to go. I go at your pace, even if I challenge you to push beyond your comfort zone. You are in charge, and I will follow your lead while offering recommendations based on what has worked for others.

Our first session

We establish expectations day one: what to expect of me and what I should expect of you. We also establish goals and discuss what direction you would like these sessions to follow.
