Hi there, I'm Denise!

I know for certain that counseling can be challenging, and there is no one-size-fits-all. This allows me to work with clients with a variety of challenges, including LGBTQ+, anxiety, depression, personal growth, and anxiety in a school setting, to name a few.

My focus

I welcome clients who identify as LGBTQ+ and BIPOC. I also work with clients who are ready and willing to solve their problems. While not everyone is ready, some need help in getting to that point. I treat those whose symptoms relate to anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, gender dysphoria, and problems in their relationship with their spouse.

My approach

While client-centered therapy is the foundation of my counseling techniques, depending on the client and the situation, I may borrow techniques from the psychodynamic, humanistic, or behavioral approaches.
