My communication style

I communicate openly, and while I aim to understand your needs, I also appreciate candid feedback and collaboration to help me do so. I understand that counseling is a delicate process that requires compassion, but it also often requires encouragement and someone to assist with accountability.

My journey to mental healthcare

I come from a family riddled with mental and addiction struggles, which created a passion within me to help others navigate these challenges. I have worked at addiction inpatient and outpatient clinics as well as several community mental health centers.

My goals for you

While I rely on the client to have individual goals, I also share insights to assist the client in identifying how to reach those goals and continue to elevate past our counseling experience. I provide active listening as well as problem-solving skills to not only address client issues in the moment but also prepare for the future.

Our first session

Our first session is centered around my understanding of my client's needs and goals. This is our foundation to build upon, and I hope to provide a comfortable and empathetic environment.
