I specialize in treating those suffering from Substance Use Disorder. Along with treating a client with SUD, I specialize in helping the family navigate the often confusing and heartbreaking world of addiction.

With Motivational Interviewing and a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach, my goal is to motivate the client to achieve sustainable recovery and help families understand the complexities of addiction.

My communication style

My approach is non-judgmental and calming. Addiction can feel chaotic and frantic. It helps to have a calm voice in the midst of the storm.

My journey to mental healthcare

As with most addiction counselors, life experiences led us to this field. Whether it be someone in recovery or a family member of the addict/alcoholic.

Clients will have an opportunity to set their own goals for treatment. Sometimes help is needed to identify those goals.
