I try to create a therapeutic environment that is warm, nonjudgmental, and where clients feel they can be their true selves. Some areas of focus I specialize in are anxiety, depression, self-esteem, job stress, life transitions, and self-development.

The types of clients I usually work with are those who have mild/moderate depression, feeling stagnant, anxiety, low self-esteem & self-worth, Life transitions/adjusting to new circumstances, issues with peer relationships, and job stressors.

My approach

My approach to therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

My communication style

I use a very warm, caring, and nonjudgmental tone and approach. I create a therapeutic environment that allows clients to be open and vulnerable. I encourage clients that they can be free and honest without judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always wanted to help people and see people grow into their greatest potential. Going to and growing through therapy makes that possible!

My goals for you

I assist clients in identifying what they want to see happen or change for them, and then develop goals around that.

Our first session

They should expect a "getting to know you" intake session, in which I'm learning about them and their needs. I want to assist clients in setting goals and building rapport with them. I want to build the foundation of the therapeutic relationship during this session and discuss the goals of therapy.
