Hi there, I'm Amy!

Whether starting therapy for the first time or coming back, talking to a new therapist can be a little anxiety-provoking. Many (probably most!) therapists have engaged in therapy themselves, so we know what this feels like! I will strive to make it as comfortable as possible for you to begin, or continue, this part of your journey of self-care.

My focus

I enjoy working with people of all ages, but I really enjoy working with young adults, having worked on two college campuses. I have worked extensively with patients who have suffered from trauma in either childhood or adulthood, and also with eating disorders.

My approach

I like to "start where the client is"—this is your journey, and what concerns you most is where we begin. I hope to guide you where you'd like to go. I am strongly Object Relations-based, but employ what works best, be it CBT, DBT, Mindfulness techniques, or something else.
