I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my Master’s from Capella University in Counseling, focused on Marriage & Family Therapy. I have worked in therapy for the last 8 years and work with adults for individual, family, and couple/marital therapy. I am a wife, mom, high school counselor, and private practice therapist.

I primarily work with adults for individual, family, couple/premarital/marital therapy. I specialize in Women's Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Stress & Family. I also focus on postpartum mental health treatment as well as infertility.

My approach

My style of therapy is person-centered with a focus on finding resolutions and achieving goals. I believe in strengths-based and action-oriented therapy.

My communication style

Sessions with me are conversational. My clients love working with me because it feels like talking to a friend. Choosing therapy can be difficult, but talking about what's troubling you shouldn't be.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist to help people find light in dark places. I think to be an amazing therapist, you have to have experience with difficult times; simply put, you have to have survived some things to help others survive too. I choose to let my past fuel my future, and it's the most rewarding thing I've ever done.

My goals for you

My clients are goal-driven and work hard in their therapy sessions and at home. I believe that my clients have their own goals, things they want to see change, or how they want to feel different. My job is to take those feelings and statements and turn them into realistic goals that we can work towards.

Our first session

During our first session, I'm going to focus on learning who you are and what brought you to therapy. We'll get the fundamentals down, set appropriate goals, and design a plan to move forward.
