In sessions with me, you are free to be yourself. I listen with curiosity and openness so that I can better get to know you! Every client will have different goals - some will come in with a specific checklist, and others will come in with a more vague idea of what they'd like to accomplish - I welcome all forms of goal-setting!

I became a counselor so that I could use my skills of active listening, empathy, pattern recognition, and advocacy to help others.

A goal does not have to be an endpoint - it can also be a direction or journey we take as we work together.

Our first session

The first session is our getting-to-know-you session. We'll talk about your reasons for coming to counseling, the strengths that you already possess, and the areas you'd like to improve in your life.
