My communication style

I am told that sometimes it is what I leave unsaid that can be most telling. With patience and understanding, I practice active listening and give you the space to come to your own ah-ha moments. While gently pushing the edges of your comfort zone with a fresh perspective, I will be there with you the whole way.

My journey to mental healthcare

People have always told me their stories. I am honored by that trust and vulnerability. I knew I wanted to make a career of holding space for those stories. I find it immensely fulfilling to share something so sacred with my clients.

My goals for you

From setting boundaries to building coping skills, we will work together toward your therapeutic goals. These will, of course, have fluidity, morphing, and shifting as your own growth progresses and as we, together, see opportunity for further fulfilling your needs.

Our first session

Before our first session, I will ask you to complete an intake form, which provides an opportunity for you to give a broad overview of where you are and how you might have gotten there. When we meet for the first time, I will ask what is most pressing for you and will explore with you what is in the form, laying the groundwork for our journey.
